2x2 BLD

Did this tutorial help at all? I know someone posted in this thread earlier and you said you didn't understand it at the time. Is there anything I can do to make it better?
I followed the tutorial, but i found that i couldn't quite understand where the sticker goes. Kina like if r(white-red-blue) goes to g, what sticker is facing you, if you get it. Otherwise, kudos, nice tut:)

I keep having this problem where 6 pieces are solved, but the other two are in their correct spot, but not in the correct orientation. Is this just a thing i have to deal with?

That is typically one of two problems.

1. You memorized incorrectly. Just keep practicing your memo and this will improve. Everyone messes up BLD sometimes.
2. You are performing the wrong setup moves/algorithms. In this case, it may be a good idea to do sighted blind solves, or single step blind solves, where you do the moves for one letter of the memo, then look at the cube to verify you did that right. This will help catch yourself if you are doing a certain move wrong for a given letter.

Well, i think i didnt word it properly. I solve 6 pieces, but the last piece is in its slot, just wrongly orientated, WITHOUT me doing anything to it.

Then DO something to it :)

Try this:

Old Pochman style:
During memo check for corners that are twisted in place
When you have a twisted piece you can memo where the sticker that belongs to U or D is.
During solving: first shoot to the location you memo'd (you now have the U or D sticker in your buffer) then shoot the U / D sticker to where it belongs.

The alternative is to use commutators that twist corners but this is more difficult to learn.

How didn't i think about that?:O
I know the commutators for twisting corners, and what cancels what about. I was trying to learn bld from lance and you needed to use commutators to orient the corners!
