2look OLL/PLL or full?

I have a simple question Im new at cubing, so what is best, to learn the full OLL and PLL or the 2 look OLL/PLL (from Badmephisto's tutorials)
I havent learnt any atm, i just look em up but im gonna start next week.

I dont think many of you know my situation. I started april 25 or something with cubing. I can solve cross, F2L and last layer cross without messing up to often intuitively.
I do it very slowly with just one hand, but i was thinking if i learn the algs now and learn how to recognize them slowly i will be able to recognize them faster and faster and do the alg without a sheet, and over time automatically and then when i have full use of my left hand i can focus on speed. Or isnt that a good plan?

You should go for 2look OLL/PLL and then FULL PLL. FULL OLL is important when you get sub 20 but you can get sub30 without full OLL D like me)

Learn 2 look first, then progress to full PLL, then full OLL

Full OLL is the very last step. Work on your F2L before learning Full OLL.

F2L is the key, seriously, IT ****ING IS!

2-look OLL/PLL is just a subset of full OLL/PLL so obviously you should learn 2-look first and then you can just start learning more OLLs whenever you want

Im putting up a vid on youtube, badmephisto's way is very fast. I did it in about 6-7 min, and only looking at the alg from the last cross yay And no big screw up either ^^ Need practice at finding the F2L pairs and cross though So if anyone want to see my ugly face and screwy solve im putting it on atm.

Lol okay but at that speed you just need to practice and get the algorithms down. I'm sure you'll be doing it in under 3 minutes soon enough.

And I hope you aren't serious about having an ugly face.

I fully agree with that. Start by learning 2look oll/pll, then once you've got that down pat learn full oll/pll, which will be much easier now that you know the basic idea and a few of the algorithms. You can get sub-20 without much difficulty with both full oll and full pll. Badmephisto's tuts are a good place to start on that path

I fully agree with that. Start by learning 2look oll/pll, then once you've got that down pat learn full oll/pll, which will be much easier now that you know the basic idea and a few of the algorithms. You can get sub-20 without much difficulty with both full oll and full pll. Badmephisto's tuts are a good place to start on that path

While I do agree that it's a good idea to learn OLL once you're around 20, sub-20 is definitely possible without full OLL. I've done many averages myself and I know some others have done much faster than that.
