I was looking at the Sunday contest highscore list, when I saw someone achieved a solve of 2.79 seconds. Is that even possible?

I find it quite hard to believe. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it's legit or not?

Ok, here are Kee Jia Xuan's results from the Weekly contest: 3.45, 6.34, 6.29, 5.44, 6.55, 4.99, (2.79), 5.64, (7.24), 5.73, 5.76, 3.15

And here are his results from an Official competition 6 weeks ago: 27.53 18.75 15.00 18.22 17.05

Let's play spot the difference :)

by every stretch of the imagination it is indeed very possible,

...

if the Scramble is only U
or as someone said: Triple skip
or even a practised reversed scramble

"The Sunday Contest is for 3x3x3 cube only... The Sunday Contest no longer provides prizes for winning entries. You are on an honor system. Please do not submit false entries. Entries with unbelievable times will be removed. Thank you."

For everyone on the speedsolving.com, my truly apologize at here. and the fact, i really don't know its a contest for 3x3 cube only. Please forgive my ignorance.
