Scramble of the Week #3 (Wednesday 4 November 2026)

One scramble, everybody solves it. 3x3, white on top, green in front:

Code:
B' F L2 B2 F L U2 B' R' B2 U2 L' B2 D2 U' R' F' L D2 L F2 B2 D2 B' U
Post what you did below: a full reconstruction, just your cross and first pair, or one trick you spotted. Any method, any speed; a 40-second solve with a clever block is as interesting as a 7. Want to try it blind first? Solve before you scroll.

Tip: paste the scramble and your solution into alg.cubing.net and link the result so people can step through it.

I found this fancy F2L stuff

It took me a while to find this.

Forgot about a flipped edge :(

My mind is not on speedsolving today. I was extremely hesitant and slow. Shame; I consider the solve itself wonderful.

blind (with very slow memo):

 Setup

// edges, buffer is DB

M2 M U M U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2 M2 // flip FD to DF

I tried a BLD solve too. Got confused in the middle of the edge memorization (interpreted the wrong letter), had to start over - furthermore, I messed up the corner orientation during the memorization (I use a niche method for corners called Boomerang, for a variety of reasons, and I do the corner orientation separately).

DNF. :(

This is what I did:

15.19, hesitant xcross execution but still good for me despite an unlucky last layer.
