Story
I learned to solve a cube a couple of years ago, using a beginner's method. I really enjoyed solving them, but I never really thought about speed. However, only a couple of months ago, I discovered speedsolving and the speedsolving community. I learned ZZ, but I was still using an old, crappy cube. I lost interest and stopped for a while, but then the speedcube I had ordered finally arrived a few weeks ago. I mained the
LMCF method for a while, and I now use
Nautilus.
Cubing interests
Although being fast would definitely be nice, I enjoy the more theoretical aspect of cubing, and I especially enjoy method development and learning novel ways to solve the cube. As such, I know about many different methods and I am hopeful that, in the future, the methods used by top cubers will be a lot more diverse.
Other interests
In addition to cubing, I enjoy linguistics (especially conlanging), programming (Python, C, Haskell) and quantum physics, as well as certain fields of math.
The only two events I can do currently are 2x2x2 and 3x3x3. However, I may one day expand to big cubes and BLD. I enjoy learning novel ways to solve the cube. I am currently very slow. Although my main goal is not be super fast, I would definitely like to start bringing my times down.
