Unsolved Puzzles

Does leaving a puzzle unsolved bother you? Or when you're one PLL away from solving and someone needs you to desperately do something right then?

For example, before I go anywhere... I check to make sure my puzzles are all solved. I don't know if that's like a cubing OCD thing but... (cubing OCD, haha)

What are your feelings on this?:confused:

I don't leave my puzzles scrambled, unless I have something more important to do. I don't do it obsessively, I just never scramble a puzzle unless all others are solved.

My puzzles are always solved, but I understand, and it would bug me too. If I scramble a cube, I solve it then and there, but if something comes up, i just solve it when I come back.

other than 2x2-4x4. Almost all my puzzles are unsolved. I usually solve them right before I hand them to the scrambler at comps. How do I manage not losing my mind because they're unsolved? Because I don't care.

Ok, that's totally legit. I never said I lose my mind though so I think you're exaggerating my reaction to I solved cubes a bit.

Yeah, I think it's more of how the puzzles look and also my impulse to pick them up and solve them. If I see an unsolved puzzle ANYWHERE... I get distracted and I really want to solve it xD

If it's in a pattern I'm usually fine with it because it takes no effort to solve. My Pyraminx is in superflip at the moment and I can never remember how to solve it It's an L move, an R move and a U move repeated 3 times, but that's all I remember.

Ok. I apologise for not looking through 20+pages of threads and finding one that discusses this topic.
I also think that you could've brought that up in a nicer way. It seems to me like you were chastising me for creating a thread similar to another. I'm sorry if that was not your intent and I realise I should be told if this thread is like another.

I don't like unsolved cubes. If I did then I wouldn't have learned/learnt to solve them. However, I have a 5x5 in my drawer that is worse than unsolved. It is partially solved. I did the centres last week but I've been incredibly busy looking after my nephew so it's sitting there, out of sight, tormenting me. There was an unsolved 4x4 next to it but I solved it straight after my first shave in a week this morning. If I can get 10 mins to myself tomorrow (yes I'm that slow) then I'll scrach that itch.
