[Unofficial] 28.53 OLL parity LL skip 4x4 single

Good job.

I know that people don't include parity when calling it a LL skip but it does amuse me.

'I had to do more than just AUF on the LL but it's still a LL skip' doesn't make sense to me.

Well nothing is worse than getting a LL skip and having it wasted with a parity.

It does make me wonder whether there have been any near miss WR's on 3x3x3 where someone with a 10 second average has gotten a LL skip but wasted it with a pop or an incorrect F2L pair. Im sure it would have been mentioned though.

Not that many people can get 5 second F2Ls often, and given the LL skip chance I doubt it has happened, since anyone at that level probably makes few mistakes.

If you say 3 rounds of a competition = 15 solves. Out of the top 100 competitors, 1 has probably had a LL skip in their previous 10 competitions. as that is 15,000 official solves.

You also have to take into account how often someone at that level messes up. I'm not that fast, but my cube has never popped while I'm timing myself and I make a mistakes like inserting a F2L piece maybe 1 in 20 solves, I'm sure with better look ahead these high levelm cubers make less mistakes and It would be the last 200 competitions if everyone made as many mistakes as me and more if you faster, and less then 10 people have gone to more than 100 competitions.

Well, there's nothing intrinsically linking parity with the LL, and since I did the parity alg as part of the last slot solution, it wasn't really part of the LL at all, it's asif it was just and F2L case.

Anyway, who cares about the terminology, I just thought this solve was hilarious.
