How do you get to sub15 once you're sub20?
I'm somewhat sub-20 and I can't imagine consistently being sub-15. My recognition is decent and pauses aren't that long either.
So what do you practice on? Reducing pauses further? Learn more cubeshape and EP algs?

If you're sub17 or under, what did you do to get there (from sub20-21)?
Thank you.

If you can't solve every cubeshape optimally (or with a slightly sub-optimal alg that you know is faster for you than an optimal solution), then definitely work on that.

Also:
- You'll get used to turning faster the more you practice with the puzzle
- Reducing pauses further is always a good thing, and you can start to achieve this by actually looking ahead (e.g. recognizing CP before/during EO, recognizing how many edges will be solved in each layer after you do your CP alg so you will be more prepared to recognize the specific case)

Need an Alg for that case.
Firstly, this thread is for square-1, not square-2. Secondly, don't post the same thing in two different places.
In answer to your question, I can't really see your video clearly, because your hand is in the way. Maybe show a video of the cube resting on a table, then turn it 90 degrees at a time so we can clearly see all sides.

the sq-2 is allot like the sq-1 except that the Sq-2 corners are split. Also look at the R and L faces for the bottom layer.

Can someone give me an alg that swaps DF edge with whatever edge on the top layer (becuase of setup move) and swaps 2 other edges on top. But only these edges not any corners like some other algs.

Not quite sure what your looking for.
Here is a OE alg that preserves corners.
It performs the following swaps: DF <-> UB && RU <-> LU

(0, -1) / (-3, 0) / (4, 1) / (-1, -1) / (-3, 0) / (3, 0) /

do a 0,1 then opp parity on bottom
I'm trying to think of an easier and more intuitive way of doing this, but all I can think of is:
1. Swap the other two green and blue pieces on bottom. (A small modification of H perm will do)
2. Do an N perm on bottom.

It's not very obvious though, but kinda cool :)

Right now, the only two pieces that need swapping. Leave them alone for now. Instead, swap the two pieces surrounding both of those pieces. Set them up to U2 M2 U2 M2 to help.

Now do an N perm on bottom.

N perm is a parity algorithm. It "swaps" 3 pairs of pieces.

I think many people have been blinded when it comes to solving a sq2, because of the sq1 knowledge they posses. However the best method for sq2 seems to be reduction to a sq1. If you didn't know how to solve sq1 in the first place, wouldn't you think it's such a weird step to take? It doesn't even reduce to any move group!

This site has the best list of SQ1 algs, ever, including extras, like PLL for SQ1.

What's a fast way of doing cubeshape? My current method is very slow. I'm averaging ~1:20 at the moment. Cubeshape can take me anywhere between 10 and 60 seconds, depending on how much I try to do something then fail.

Square 1 Parity and Help

Hey guys.... I am still in the process of learning square 1... I have come upon some sort of parity that I cannot find any algorithm for or what to do... I still can't understand how to put the corner pieces in the correct way... just the correct place... anyway... It is completely solved and in cube form... I simply have two corners (one over the other) that are both in backwards... what to do to fix it? Also where can I find a good complete square 1 tutorial that will show me how to turn the corners so they face the correct way.... I somehow managed to do this earlier...
