Keeping track of cubes

I can usually tell cubes apart by feel anyway, but apart from that, the shapes of the holes is usually a good clue, as is pulling the faces open to look for tracks or ridges on the pieces, etc. I have never yet needed to resort to labelling any of my ~30 3x3s.

My wife thinks I've got too many cubes already - 7 3x3s, a 4x4 and a 5x5. I don't know how she'd react if I had 30 3x3s... but I'd imagine being divorced would leave me significantly more practice time! ;-)

Easy - just scatter them around the house so that it's unclear how many there are ;)
