Yeah, I never actually learned any cases. Whenever I use it I just invent an alg during inspection
I learnt it like F2L, do it intuitively, if it sucks, then check online for a better alg.

Ok so I'm kinda confused, what's the difference between Chinese V and Polish V? Or are they the same? Sorry for being such a noob.

No difference. The more common name is L4E.
