Wat that really looked like a long alg.
Good job, looked up an optimal solution.
loljkjk that was insanity. I know I already said this but in decades to come pyra could get sub 2! People just need to be insane.
That's one-looking for ya.Wat that really looked like a long alg.
Like, the good kind of insane?Good job, looked up an optimal solution.

I knew as soon as I saw it that I wasn't going to find anything better. Anything with<R,U> top and R' L R L' last layer is really good for me.It isn't even the optimal solution though.
Edit: There's the inverse scramble, and also B' R B' R L U' L' B'
His solution was keyhole/Oka, depends on point of view. I would've done the Nutella solution which was also 10 moves though probably slower 10 moves. (+tips)
Nice Drew.

I wasn't saying you should've, I was just telling the guy I quoted that it wasn't even optimal so his "joke" didn't make sense. I thought "eh 8 TPS, I could probably do that on a perfect solve" but then I saw the video, that TPS is insane.
Yeah, decent. The highest I've ever calculated is like 8.8This is actually pretty good tps O.o
good job!
wth was that :O
So fast!
Great solve!
The coolest thing about the slo-mo is that you can see the layers aren't even aligned when you go to stop the timer...then they are. :tu
Well, the other actual methods I use are LBL, (any tutorial works) and L4E, which I use rarely. There is no full video tutorial for L4E, but it's straightforward and the algs are here: http://www.mzrg.com/rubik/solving/pyraminx/ I guess I also use Bell, but there isn't a tutorial for that. Beyond that I just use random little tricks and cases, or solve it intuitively.Could you just make a list of all the methods you use and what you think the best tutorials there are for each method?
I know you have Oka, 1-flip, WO and Nutella tutorials on your channels, and Erik's tut is good for Keyhole, what else do you use?

That was where I learnt about L4E (it's intuitive, don't learn as algs) but there are some better algs here: https://sites.google.com/site/devastatingspeed/pyraminx/l4e
Only a few differences.
