Because basically when Nubs look up what cube broke the world record (5.55 in this case) they see Zhanchi and buy it. Rather than what may be a better cube (Weilong)

But in this case the ZhanChi is the better cube.

That's an opinion, not a fact. It's a matter of feel. If you like really loose cubes, the zhanchi may not work as well as the Weilong. I'm not sure if you've noticed the fact that many top cubers are using a Weilong as their main, or at least switching between the two.
