After Worlds 2019, I think it was agreed that the new guard had arrived. In the Netflix documentary The Speedcubers, after Feliks tanks the 3x3 final you can hear the commentators say “I think that we are in a new era of cubing.”
This shows that he’s still a good cuber. I really hope that he’ll be more competitive at Worlds 2025 than he was at Worlds 2023

True, but the winner was Phillip Weyer so it wasn't really the new era. Now Yiheng is dominating 3x3(although Max won Worlds).
