Okay, very bad English as usual, but at least you can get a feeling of how this cube is.

There's nothing wrong with your English at all. Thanks for the review! Would have liked to see this "octopus core" better though.

Yeah, I understand. But it took me so many curses and sweat to put the damn thing together that I did not want to undo that for the video. ;) Believe me, it is a hell to put this cube together.. After a few solves it is allready much better. I loosened it a bit and now it feels so light (but stable).. Pretty amazing cube. It definatly better than my HuangYins.. And those have been my main cubes. I just do not think it is going to be my main because of the size. But now that I have started OH solving, I did a few OH solves and I like it a lot. Big chance this cube will replace my 55 Zhanchi for OH.

How does the speed compare with other cubes e.g. the Weilong?

And also 6:13 "solid like a rock"
So it's the new Panshi? Lol.

Well, I did one Ao12 and had a 25.xx which is quite allright for me.. I think Weilong is a tad bit faster.. But this Gans is not broken in. My guess is that once it is broken in it is right up there next to the Weilong.. Gans might be a tab bit more stable.. It is a pretty awesome cube. Nothing like a Panhsi ;)

I'm excited! I got confirmation my cube came today. I should be able to set it up tonight, that and my Fangshi V2. I'm excited to see how it plays. Sounds like it may be very similar to Weilong based off your description.

And how do you like it? I am very curious about the ShuanRen V2 too. I am hoping that mine will come this week.

I think that the Gans is ok. It has a lot of lock ups. Feels like a Guhong V2 meets the Huanying. It is smooth though. I will be doing a review and assembly this week. The ShuangRen V2 is awesome. Such an upgrade from V1, hopefully do a review on that as well.

Ok. I think I have mine very loose. Never had any lock up. I agree on the smoothness ;) My ShuangRen V2 arrived in Holland.. Jay! Now that I read that you think it is a true upgrade I hardly can't wait for it. Did you get the original color?

Gans III assembly tutorial & demo video

Here's my assembly tutorial for the Gans III. This was my first attempt and the order I did things was not fully planned. To be honest I found it a lot easier than expected after hearing other people struggling. I should say initially the nuts didn't seem to fit in the spanner but I guess there may have been a burr or something on the metal. After a couple of tries they were fine.
The video also shows a demo and a solve. As a non speedcuber I don't think my opinion of the puzzle has much value here. All I will say is that it cut corners well, it never popped, it never broke.

Tony,

I promise you, at around point 2.30 in your video, that took me about one hour. And a lot of cursing and swearing. You make it seem so easy.. LOL. Great assembly video man! I put the core in a Weilong, and there is was just as easy to assemble as a regular Weilong or Zhanchi..
