Guhong V2 problem

I am currently having the problem of the cube not being SMOOTH and being locky and clicky. The cube was a DIY, and I did the basic 48 pt edge mod, without disturbing the other parts of the edge, and some light corner base rounding. these mods do not affect the cube, but should only enhance it. it came with a yellow box and torpedoes. it feels dry as well, and Ive tried everything. adding more lube, different lube. tensioning the cube. etc. if anyone can help suggest anything or has a similar problem please respond. Thanks a bunch!

People have mixed opinions on this, but try doing an average with the torpedoes out/in (whichever state your cube is currently NOT in). See if that makes the cube more bearable.

I've got 2 guhong V2 cubes both Lubiks one black one white and I haven't really had problems with them, the only thing is the white one is a little more smoother and less clicky and the black one has started to slow down a little while the white one hasn't and I've had them the same amount of time

48 PEM does nothing IMO. Have you lubed the core, and also, have you tried simulating some breaking in. I did it too an already well broken in GuHong v2, made it super smooth:

I thought that was only for the Zhanchi. Other people say it works great on a Guhong v(whatever version you have)

Well I might have done it wrong (doubt it) or undermodded it. But I honestly don't feel much of a difference. I think the M-slices are slightly better, but not sure if placebo.

But it shouldn't needing, I've felt some f my friends guhong v2 and they don't have mods yet they feel better.
