Awesome and congratz! I also don't recommend looking away during the execution of algs (or just intentionally going slow for that matter), even on crappy solves, because you never know when crappy solves can become counting due to other major messups of DNFs.

Thanks! And I get that a lot. I didn't really make a conscious decision to turn like that, I guess it's just how my style evolved. I might just have Polish blood in me or something XD

Lool I've tried that style once, and I don't think it works well for me :P

EDIT: Doesn't Piotr Michal Padlewski use that style too? (sry if i spelled it wrong)

Congratulations Nathan! After that second solve I would have been so nervous lol.

Yeah I was really nervous. The time between stopping the timer and seeing the next scramble was hell. I think some of that nervousness was alleviated by the fact that my goal going into the comp was to make finals. And I did, so that reaaaaally helped with my nerves in finals. If I had made my goal to podium, there's no way I would have.

EDIT: Doesn't Piotr Michal Padlewski use that style too? (sry if i spelled it wrong)

He does. Hence "Polish style"
