Hey everyone. Thought I should make a post about this.
anyway...
I have been cubing for just over a year now. The main problem that I have is I take breaks, about a few months. This year in total I took about 6th months of not cubing.
I have many hobbies, I normally focus on one or two of them every couple of months. I don't like this. I want to be able to cube all the time and never take "breaks" maybe cube less but not completely stop. I bet If I did not take those breaks I would have been sub 15 right now.
My times right I do not know but last time I remember they were 16-18 averages.
Now the main purpose of this is what is a good healthy practice times. I'm either all the time practicing or not at all. I need a medium so I can still do my school work and my other hobbies.
Meaning what do you guy think I should do? Should I do a certain amount of solves or take a time frame and just do as many solves as I can?
I want to be able to always cube and practice quite a bit so I can improve much more. What do you guys do? Do you practice when ever and however long you can? And how can I get myself not be become addicted with practicing so ill still do my other work. Also timed or untimed solves? Which one should I do more, I hear that if you time yourself and then just do untimed solves for a couple days you can improve faster. Does anyone know if that really works?
Well I believe that's all I have to say. Share whatever you want about how you practice when you practice and my thing about that.
