I don't see why he sped up the video on a sub-9 solve. That is plenty short to put on youtube for a 5/5 attempt. I speed up my videos, but thats because no one wants to watch 40 minutes of me blindsolving.

You are joking right? listen to the tone of his voice. The way he claims the sub 9 before checking all the cubes. The way he looks at the camera as he says yes. The way he puts down the last cube, and then goes through something in his head for like 5 seconds. And again, the dang tone in his voice, its blatant.
No I'm not joking. People have different voices and in general different behavior (compare the reactions of Aron and Dennis, for example). Nothing wrong here. Nothing wrong him thinking he succeeded before fully checking, either (especially on a video that he can simply not publish in case he's wrong). No idea why you have a problem with the last cube and last thinking, either. So... sorry, you have nothing. I suspect you became convinced of faking for other reasons, and now you're trying to be a smart-ass by pretending to see something that's not there when really you're just retro-actively applying your conviction. The exact same behavior, done by a cuber well-known to be capable of this, wouldn't cause any of you to claim there's something wrong with it.
I see your point. Do you think the video is a legitimate, valid attempt? Based off what others have said above, there is good reason to think the video is fake.No I'm not joking. As for the acting, don't forget the way he speeds through the entire execution of a cube without any pauses, and then takes ages to think about the last step (PLL?), on every cube. Not something you see often in BLD solves.
WOW DAS SO FAST ! ! !
Memo x4, Solve x1
I didn't rush much because I didn't want to do 13503259 attempts to get it. It was 2nd attempt![]()

There are so many reasons from the first video/solver to assume it is fake. There are so many reasons from Maskow's video/solver to assume it is real. I don't get your point.OMG Maskow nodded before actually checking all sides. So fake.
Lolu maskow. Maskow saves the day.
moral: if you're gonna fake something, make sure it's at least better than non-fakers.
I like him, he's my motivation. Again.
