How do I get sub 20 average?

I would say learn all of OLL (not sure what 1 1/2 look OLL is?).

I average about the same but I do tend to get sub 20 times on a regular basis - and when i do it is usually because I knew the OLL.

I average about the same but I do tend to get sub 20 times on a regular basis (when I'm warmed up) and when i do it is usually when I get an F2L 13 seconds or lower. I only know like 12 OLLs and my best 50 solve average is 21.05 seconds..............

It pisses me off with each thread that demands the answer to "How do I get sub-20?" Stop making those stupid threads and keep practicing.

What's wrong with you today, dude?

You were harsh on that n00b about his DIY and now you're harsh here too.

I think you need to have a nap or a drink or something.

We all know that practice is key, but SOMETIMES people can give pointers (like everyone else in this thread except you).

Practice goes without saying. Someone averaging 22 will know that practice is key.

lol i guess im the "n00b with a DIY"

Sorry, that was a joke. I know 4 look LL, but I also know about half of one look PLL so I said a 1 1/2 look PLL.

don't feel bad. we were all n00bs in the beginning.

PIMPS is cool:)
advancing cross making is one of the most important, and seemingly overlooked stages. being able to make a cross on at least two different (usually opposite) sides is useful, as well as being able to block build quickly. im currently trying to do this, by building a 2x2x2 and then finishing the cross, or even putting in another block. sometimes ill have a 4 or 5 second cross but only a 3 second f2l because itll end up double or even triple x-cross.
obviously do all the other stuff too :)
