Sub-5 averages

When I started cubing, there was someone with a 6.01 3x3 average who was top 100 in the world - now, the slowest top 100 average is 5.88. When do you think the slowest top 100 average will be 4.99? And do you think it will ever be 3.99?

When I started There was the 6.54 average by feliks with a few others having 7 averages.

I'm going to guess it'll be 4.99 in 2030. 3.99 will probaly be ~2038 but I have low confidence in the latter.
