For a good year now, I've been trying to get a sub-3 average in 2x2x2. My PB is 1.09, which brought me to be 12th best in the world. I mainly used CLL, but I use Ortega on rare occasion. My average is 3.49, which I hope to improve. My latest (out of competition) average was a 3.31. I guess I'm hoping for a sub-1 single as well, but I'm mainly shooting for a sub-3 average. I'd be pretty interested on what you guys think about this goal, and hearing your experiences with similar 2x2x2 averages.

...that would be in the How-to section of the forums.

I apologize for coming here from the homepage.
Anyway here;
1. Be colour neutral.
2. Use as much inspection as you want, until you can predict the CLL. Practise this.
3. Do a tonne of solves.
TPS+1look=sub 3
Also check how efficient your layer is, compare to the average optimal.

Sorry about that first part...and thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.

Well if he's already learned CLL at this point, I really doubt he wants to just throw it away and start over with something else.
