Hi
I just ordered a 3x3 cube in black. Until now, I only used white cubes, but now I want to give black cubes a chance. In case of the new cube being my new main, is the switch from white to black difficult? Does anyone have any experience?

Thx in advance

I use both white and black cubes, sometimes even blue cubes. It doesn't affect my recognition at all, I usually need 1 or 2 solves though to get used to the colour when I switch cubes.

I recently got a white zhanchi after puzzle addictions ****ed up my order, and my solve times didn't increase at all, but only because the white cube has white stickers. I have a white type C with black stickers, and that takes me like 25 seconds to solve.

There isn't a difference

Disagree. I'll assume you are talking about hardware. ex. "Which v-cube is better, white or black". In that case, there is none. But he's talking about recognition.

The only time it affected me was when I bough a ghII cube in white, but it came in like, egg white or something. That slowed me down. I never got used to it, it was like a transparent cube. Just practice a lot and you'll get used to it.

I am not talking about the hardware, I am talking about recognition.

I use white cubes because its better for zbll recognition for me but if i just CFOP for a solve i use black.

I personally have some problems with the colours in white cubes, I don't know why but they are somehow confusing for me. If you are very used to white cubes you might have some issues when switching, at least until you get used to them. But it depends on each one, normally it doesn't really matter.
