Hello everybody, my name is Carl.

I'm not new to cubing, but I have a lot to learn for sure.

I started cubing about 3 or 4 years ago. But I haven't actually picked up a cube (or other) for almost a year now (kind of lost interest, and didn't have money to support the hobby).

But I want to get back into it.

I can solve a standard 3x3x3 using the Dan Brown method, with my own version of F2L (I actually figured out how to do this without looking it up or reading any tutorial.) It's not the official method for F2L, but it does the same thing. (I still would like to learn the proper way, though.)

I can also solve a Pyraminx.

Anyway, that's about it. I really want to grow and get better and incread my speed. I plan to learn OLL and PLL at some point...

Anyway, if you guys have any advice, or if you want to ask anything, please let me know.

Badmephisto's F2L tutorial is a good place to start. His videos are brilliant for explaining the method.

Learn 2-Look OLL (10 algorithms), and 2-Look PLL (7 Algorithms) after you watch that video...

Then you can start learning Full PLL (21 algorithms), and then Full OLL (57 algorithms).

And even learning something like ZZ (537 algorithms) or ZB (799 algorithms) after learning the steps above may help...
