just found these on my own at random:
R U' R' F R U R' U' F' R U' R'
R U R' F U R U' R' F' R U R'

they look long, but they're insanely fast. I'm not sure if these have been discovered, and if they have i apologize for looking like a total noob haha.

for what case is this?
Just do them backwards from solved F2L so see the case. The two algs even are each other's inverse, so you really don't have to think at all. Good luck.

An easy way to see the case is to paste the alg intoalg.garron.us and change the animation type to solver. Press view and it will show the case along with an animation of the execution.
Its easier than inverting an alg imo

e.g R U' R' F R U R' U' F' R U' R'

Depends on the situation. People should know both ways, but I find understanding more important than being able to use a tool. And in this case the inverse was even given right there, plus you'll want to physically try out the algs anyway.

Great algs, I always struggled with these 2 cases; I almost do them 2-look after splitting the pair with R U' R' so this is a massive improvement for me

Alright yeah, I agree. I use alg.garron.us because I understand how inverting the alg works, but I can't be bothered to actually do it

That's not quite as efficient as it could be - you could use R (F U R U' R' F') U' R' which is 3 moves shorter.
It's nearly the same alg as Rowe's (setup + FURU'R'F' + setup') but with a shorter setup.

Now you're talking the same movecount as mine...and FRUR'U'F' is an irresistable trigger...this thing just might have legs!
