Whats should a sub 20 user of CFOP average as far as turns go,

That is a very vague question. Sub 20 is just a time. If someone could turn 10 moves a second with no pauses, they could still have a 200 move solution and get 20 seconds. Personally I average about 50-60 moves depending on what cases come up.

Well, 3 TPS and having a time of 20 seconds would mean that your solution would be 60 moves a solve.

Funny thing about that...

Currently, the bell curve peaks at 56 for me, only because everything's HTM. If it were measured in STM, it may be a few less.

My f2l + cross is usually 30 moves because I try to empty slot the first 2 pairs.

off topic: I notice that people with slower turning do their last f2l pair slow.
