what do you mean by preserve?? (im noob)
Yeah. I think what Jorghi is trying to say is that you can't do CFOP entirely intuitively.
And you spent a whopping 2 hours trying?Ok, I have tried the roux method, and i just dont get it...

when i use intuitive blockbuilding i always mess things up, and learning algorithms is frustratingly hard... what would you recommend based on my answers??
CFOP is a great method because you can decide what you want to practice, and practice it well.
the good thing is, you don't even need to know more than 2 look oll and pll to get under 50 avg.
What is special about this? You can do this with any other method.
In fact, you can get under 15 average with that.
You can get sub-12 with LBL, in theory.
Feliks' WR TPS was just under 10; the average move count for LBL is just around 100.
(P.S. You have no idea how much of a nouxb the above statement makes me feel like)
To the OP:
But, really, I'm a huge Roux fan, but I'd definitely suggest CFOP (or maybe Petrus) for your current skill level. If you still feel the Roux-sirens are calling your name, you can always switch. First get a better feel for how the cube works, though.

yeah i looked at fridrich, but all i found was intuitive videos, and they didnt show any algorithms
One of the 7s I had was under 4 TPS. Fullstep.
