How to get faster times?

Hey, i was wondering if you had tips for how i can get faster. i use the beginner method. my cross average is 16.05. my average is around 1:30. i tried to learn f2l but im really slow at it. any advice?

You don't instantly get good at F2L, so of course you're slow at it. Learn it, then practice it.

I think the threads with sub30 cubers asking for advice are helpful. There seems to be a point where just saying 'practice' doesn't help much, and specific tips are needed.

But if your average is 1:30, then yes, practice more. There's already many threads/websites with general advice on cubing.

I'd have to agree with practice, practice f2l, and learn 2look OLL/PLL since it's not as many algs to remember.

I would also go to Badmephisto's YouTube channel and watch his videos. They are extremely helpful.

Seriously, at that speed you just need to practice more. There's not much more we can tell you without seeing a video or what your time's like for each individual part of your solve plus a example solve... But yeah.

start learning CFOP method , and practice until you can do the cross less than 5 second

Yep, plan that cross during inspection. It doesn't matter if it takes you a long time, forget about the 15 sec for now.
