Hi everyone, my son is 14 and has been speedcubing for a year and a half, just challenging himself to get faster. He moved from an ordinary cube up to a standard speed cube last winter. He's tried to get classmates interested so he can compete with his friends, but no one really seems to want to put in the effort. They twist the cube around a bit but not seriously!
How can we encourage other schoolkids to do this as well? Anyone tried to set up a club? Or beginners competition? How did you do it? Did the kids stick with it? Please give me your ideas; it would be great to get something local going, but I'm not sure how.
Thank you in advance, anyone who takes the time to send me some ideas and the benefits of your experience!
