My country, seriously has very few cubers, and I don't want to go to another country for a competition :D I knew some people, who just were enthusiastic for some time, then they got 1:xx averages and they were just too lazy to memorize more algorithms or practice f2l etc. and then they quit. Cubing is more like a temporary hobby to the cubers. We probably have 5-10 sub40 cubers. (People that I know of)

What am I going to do!?! I even prepared a website with tons of BLD, Fridrich, beginner, etc. tutorials.

EDIT: What about a TV Commercial! :D

my encouragement to start cubing and learning full Fridrich was seeing the world best cubers get amazing times, and especially watching the youtube videos. Whenever I feel like I'm not making any progress I always go and watch a really good solve on youtube and that usually gives me some motivation.

You also must know some lazy bums that just start dreaming to get that good, and then quit thinking they can't. We've got tons of these guys :D
The thing is, everything is in English, websites, tutorials etc. and although we learn English at school, not everyone understands it. That and the not enough people problem.

Say if you get the WR or even the NR, you can put it on their college record. And tell them how easy or hard it was for you to become that fast. Its sad how they quit, my friend was low 20's and he just quit. Because of stupid computer games.
