Algorithm Adiction

i justo dont know how to explain it!... i got board because i see no point in learing all OLL... it doesen't give that feeling of completing the cube like PLL...

P.D the point here is not to make me faster... i fust wanna lern tons of algs!

Maybe it's because it doesn't complete the cube like PLL?

Seriously, if that's your reason for not liking OLL, then you might as well learn full 1-look LL, because in any system that will take more than one step, all steps but the last will feel pointless to you....

That's not the point. Why learn OLL? It orients the last layer. Why not learn OLL? It doesn't finish the cube. It doesn't put pieces in the right spot. It doesn't really lead into anything more advanced (maybe recognition practice, at the very most).

It's simply not worth it to Aaronus23.

Still, learning Full ZB as next step is not a good suggestion. Some people said he should (as a joke obv).
You obviously missed the point of the thread. He wants to learn as many algs as he can, and it has nothing to do with speed.
So yes, Full ZB IS a good suggestion.

And the people who said he should, were NOT joking.

This forum needs a function where I can select sentences and mark them as inaccurate.

I was afraid of that. I should of said something like learning a different set of algorithms would benefit Aaronus23 better (I use this term loosely) than OLL.

Wtf just because it has more algorithms doesn't make it advanced.. Its still easy just tons of algs.. :P lol

:D

What ZBLL? Yeah, lots more algs to learn. But it also taxes your recognition skills more. Which makes it comparatively more advanced IMO. But maybe I'm just missing your point, I've had a few beers...

Actually, I find recognition for ZBLL to be pretty much instant. The reason why it takes so much time is because your brain goes "right, wtf was the alg for this case".

Have you tried? Are you used to recognising CLL?

I think people have just heard someone say that ZBLL is hard to recog and passed it on as fact without actually trying or thinking about it themselves.
