Pretty Patterns cube website gone?!?

[Kabuthunk]

It seems to be this way for me, I discover or am shown a really interesting webpage, and just about immediately after I start to enjoy it, the website decides not to exist any more.

Long story short, someone on this board posted a link to the Pretty Patterns webpage (which would normally be at http://www.randelshofer.ch/rubik/patterns.html ), so I was having a lot of fun on my 5x5 making stuff.

Just a few days ago, my 6x6 and 7x7 V-cubes came in the mail (can't buy them locally), and then suddenly... the Pretty Pattern webpage is gone - Firefox can't find the server at www.randelshofer.ch.

What are the blind chance odds that this site is perhaps mirrored anywhere? Hell, I'd love to mirror it on my own site, but hindsight is 20/20 and all (and since it's java-based, it can't exactly just have the html files and images saved).

So yeah... there any other pattern webpages?

The site works for me just fine. Using Chrome.

Kidding, the website worked for me (Firefox). Maybe, when the OP tried to load it, either the site or his internet was down?

[maggot]

it was down when you first posted. i tried on 4 browsers, ie9, chrome, safari, and firefox. now it seems to be all better!

Weird... maybe they were switching to a new hosting provider or something, and by blind chance it hadn't finished updating for me and maggot when I checked it back there.

Working for me now too. Although it'd still be nice if I could back it up anyway
