Sitting or Standing?

Do you prefer to do your solves sitting or standing, and why?
Also, which has worked the best for you in competitions?

BTW, I searched for a thread like this, looked through 10 pages of results, and couldn't find one.

Sitting because that's how I do it when I practice. If I pop a piece, usually during bigger cubes, depending on where it lands and how far into the solve I am I'll just finish standing.

Sitting, I can't concentrate standing. Plus, I always solve while sitting at my computer, so it's more natural.

Sitting with one leg under myself. Kind've reminds me too keep my head up/looking around the cube.

I sit down most solves, but I've done (unofficial) solves standing up, laying down, hanging upside down from climbing frames and swings, and hanging from the skin on my back (don't ask) without much trouble

It depends on the chair height/table height. If I find that I don't come up big enough then I stand.

I stand for Magic/Master magic always though, and most of the time OH. More leverage.

Yea back before I broke my magic I always did it standing. There was just a wider range of motion making it easier to do.

What are you talking about? That was one of only three threads with titles containing sitting and standing.

At first I was going to say sitting mostly, but then I realized that usually when I'm cubing I'm laying on my bed, so I guess I would say laying.

I've competed sitting and standing, and I'm fine either way. I prefer sitting though... on one leg (foot) probably.
