2-5 relay

What do you average for 2-5 relay

2x2x2-10 seconds (lol)
3x3x3-15 seconds
4x4x4 1:20 (assuming higher number)
5x5x5-2:50 (average)

Assuming 4:30 assuming I get a good solve in any category (my time for 5x5x5 isn't a terrible solve time). I average sub10 (like 7 or 8) but I do have fluke solves more often than not.

I only inspect 3x3x3 and 2x2x2 (if time then a quick 4x4x4 to see what to start with) so that's why my 4x4x4 and up times are timed higher then normal.

What's your breakdown?

Lets see... With bad solves I'd be:

5x5x5 2 minutes 10 seconds
4x4x4 1 minute 20 seconds
3x3x3 20 seconds
2x2x2 6 minutes 11 seconds.

So... that's over 10 minutes.
I guess corners first doesn't work too well with a 2x2x2...

2x2 ~ 5
3x3 ~ 15
4x4 ~ 1
5x5 ~ 2:45
= 4:05

so, even with no inspection on big cubes and picking up and putting down every puzzle, i'd expect to be close to my avg of every cube combined. but for an avg of 12, i got 4:32.xx. . i kinda stink at 5x5 which in turn makes my avg suck.

i think a lot of people would agree the people who wins a relay is the fastest at the biggest cube. i am really poor at edge pairing and i dont know many of the last 2 edge cases on the 5x5. also, my standard deviations increase exponentially as the cube size increases.

I think that there should be an option on the poll called "OVER NINE-THOUSANDDDD"

Hm...

Never tried, but:

2x2: 4-6 seconds

3x3: 20-28 seconds

4x4: 1:35-2:00

5x5: 3:50-4:00
