IMO alpha is great (I had in my hands V and i thin III, but I'm not sure which one was that)... I don't say these are the best cubes, but I still think, that they are great and with some lube and tension setting are even better

Not sure I qualify, since I'm very new to speedcubing but for what its worth:-

1) DaYan Guhong
2) DaYan Lingyun (This would get my number 1 spot as I prefer the feel to my Guhong but I stupidly purchased it in white and just don't seem to be able to see the colours as well at speed - Hoping the Cubesmith stickers I have on order will improve it)
3) Heiyan Type A

Looking forward to receiving my f-ii, AV and Ghosthand 2 from China
