when I saw this post I googled about forced pll skip but I couldn't find anything useful.
Sometimes I can guess that if I do the F (R U R' U') F' OLL with my left hand, F' (L' U' L U) F, I can skip the pll but sometimes I end up getting J or U. by doing this I can call that solve non-lucky because I forced it myself.
I have also heard that some people know 2 or more OLL algs for one case and they use the one wich is likely to skip the PLL if they get that special permutation with that special orientation.
so do you know anything about it? or can you suggest any good source?

I generally regard forced skips as Doing something other than what you'd usually do to increase the chance of skipping a future step.

Some people would argue that just increasing the chance of skipping a step isn't forcing a skip unless you're increasing the chance to 100% (AKA you know for sure that the step will skip).

If you get a skip and you weren't completely sure if it was going to skip, it's usually still considered lucky. Do you use something like this to try to get PLL skips for that OLL case? It's not enough to know you'll get a PLL skip for sure (you can still get a U perm).

Basically you're asking for easy LL cases (excluding PLLs). You could find ways to see skips coming by doing the inverse of an alg and looking at bars or blocks of the non-U colours. I know a bunch of nice cases, I'll try to post them somewhere in a few days.

thank you Sarah <3 and when you posted, please also say if they had really been useful for you or not.

Ohh I was wanting to know the nicest ones myself. I heard nilkklas instead of sune can help in some cases but I have no idea when or how to recognize.
