Request an F2L alg!

I think he was asking for an intuitive tutorial.
What I always like to do for that case is to:
(first one)
Let's say the green side is facing towards me. I'd normally move that pair out with a L' U2 L. This just leaves you to solve it intuitively from another easier standpoint.

EDIT: If you're not sure what/how to solve that "new standpoint" then PM me. But I have the feeling from all the previous posts that you already figured it out.

I would take it out and insert it with the alg you gave, but in the event it was lined up to do it lefty, I'd do it lefty instead. If you want to avoid a cube rotation though, and it's your last pair, you would R U2 R' (removal) U' (bring it back so the corner is at RFU) then r U R' (insert) U' M (fix cross edge). This technique could be used for edge control as well. This was an intuitive thought as well. I wouldn't do too much of that sort of insertion though because it adds extra moves to your F2L, so I suggest only doing that insertion for your last pair, and avoid doing it if you have all edges oriented (would hate end up with a longer OLL just because you got into a bad habit :P)

these cases as well pl

First: F' L' U2 L F R U R

Second: Mirror

did you not hear him say that he figured it out? and does it really make sense to put the same algorithm twice?

What kind of a first post is that, first post is usually your intro in the member intro forum, and if not that, mind ur own bussiness, everyone on speedsolving is welcome to help each other, wud hav been better if u helped with an idea as well.

Try this: (R U’) x’ (R U’) (R’ U R’) x

That alg is good, but it's inverse is pure sex. It solves one of my least favorite cases, the first one in the OP in fact + U'.

I agree with Godmil, thanks for the post. I hope I can incorporate this into my solves, Id much rather have x's that basically work out to be fat l turns than a y rotation. Thanks again.

yea, but when the backslots are open/full of unsolved f2l pieces it can actually improve lookahead. It's a tradeoff, sometimes it helps sometimes it hurts. My lookahead sucks anyway.

What would you do for these, will u solve them intuitively?

I do algorithim U2 R2 U2 R' U' R U' R2 for the first case and

y' U2 R2 U2 R U R' U R2 for the second which I feel are long algs and takes time,what would you do?

First - U R U' R' U' R U' R' U R U' R'

Second - from that angle you could do U' R U R2' F R F' R U' R' or you can do y' R' U R U R' U' R U2 R' U' R

First - U R U' R' U' R U' R' U R U' R'

First: I use that alg aswell, turned that case from my least favorite to super fun and fast.
You might also try this alg, another very good one.

(R U R' U2') (R U R' U') (R U R')

Second: That first alg is awesome. Thanks. Second boss alg I've learned from this thread to solve bad cases from bad angles, avoiding y rotations.

thanks cyoubx for that nice alg,ya basically i asked for an alg for this case because if it is the last pair,i always have to make a rotation and that slows me down and kills my lookahead into OLL.
