Predict Faz's secret!

On a somewhat more serious note, I wonder if Feliks has a much faster than average reaction time? Feliks, have you ever done any of those reaction time flash games? How fast can you react?

Chris

I got an average of 257.8.
Average 25 seconds on cube.

I also don't think Feliks has some sort of secret weapon, and laughed at the thought of it.
I just think it's practice of everything: recognition, reaction, tracking, looking ahead, etc... (Yes, I know some of those might be redundant.)

I don't think reaction time will make too much of a difference. Average is about 300, it's pretty easy to look ahead 300 ms. Even if Feliks did have 150 or something, it wouldn't make much more than .0x of a difference.

That got me thinking. After taking a look at a couple of Faz's solve breakdowns, I saw that he pretty much uses {R, L, U, r, l, u, d} and next to no cube rotations other than in G perms.

Actually Faz does rotations quite often for edge pairing from my experience.

omg i'm like so fazt

Why don't you ask him how much he practices then? ^
No flamming inteded, I'm kinda curious how much he practices daily/weekly.

Waitwaitwait. Isn't zeroing all about getting the cross + 3 F2L pairs in 10 moves, an F2L pair to control the last layer and hope for an LL skip?

Two years + of practice. There's no zeroing, Anthony was joking. :)

Getting about 300 average on the reaction test :p

I try to keep edges oriented during F2L though.

Same here ! And I probably have more pratice than you have at cubing. And I'm still 17avg :'(

Where did you but your bionic fingers ? I need them !
