So after about 8 days now, ive gotten my PB down to 54 seconds. What I would like to know is, do you think I should start using the PLL's and OLL's now (i mean the 7 first ones for the 4lookLL). I know all the algos I need to do it but it's hard for me to recognise all the cases so I thought Id practice that with the F2L.

So yes or no, should I practice my recognision with the F2L or the LL?

Yes, a 4LLL would be very beneficial to your times.

F2L:
Yes, you should practice recognition. Even better would be look-ahead. Basically, you can minimize the time you spend idly searching for the cases by searching for your next pair WHILE you're inserting your current one, not after. Many cubers (including myself before I came to this forum) take more time to search for the cases than they do to actually insert them. This is BAD, which is why you look ahead.

LL:
Yes, though you aren't able to look ahead as much. If you're using a 4LLL, it will be somewhat harder to see the EOLL and COLL coming compared to the F2L. However, try to look ahead at least a little bit and also practice speedy recognition. The CPLL and EPLL are nightmares trying to foresee, so stick to developing quick recognition skills. For the last layer in general, you would want to focus on recognition instead of look-ahead because, as you move on to a 3 to 2 LLL, your algs will become much more optimized, and, therefore, much harder to use look-ahead with.

Good luck!

Learn 4 Look Last Layer (4LLL) First!

The 2 Look OLL is very easy to recognize, all you need to know how to do is seperate different shapes from each other. If you can do that, recognizing the 2 Look OLL will be a breeze.

The 2 Look PLL won't be as easy as the 2 Look OLL but it's still pretty simple. In a few days you'll get completely used to them and you'll have no problem.

You want to try to get your LL faster now, as in this point of your level, LL is more important, and easier to get fast with. Later you'll work on F2L when you get your LL faster. So learn the 4-Look Last Layer now, and it will help your times!

The OLL's are pretty easy to recognis, I only need to speed up the slgs on those but the PLL's are a pain in the a**.

Well thanks for the advice guys, Ill start incorperating the 4LLL now.

The 2 Look PLL cases aren't that bad. The edges are easy to identify, and the corners are a little bit harder to recognize. There are only 3 corner cases so it shouldn't cause you too much trouble in trying to figuring out which one is which. (This is what I think and it may differ from what you think) Good Luck Learning the algorithms!

I get your point, its just that the thing that throws me off is the clock wise and counter clock wise, i always find myself thinking for at least 5 seconds about which way it is. So its pretty much only the cirkulations that bother me.

LL you can recognize the PLL after about acouple days you will learn how to recognize it will become very easy if you keep with it.
