Need help with Hungarian Studio Cube!

I recently got into speedcubing (still a beginner; averaging around a minute), and decided to order a Hungarian Studio Cube. It came pre-lubed, and after some breaking in it turned very quickly and precisely. After many solves and about a month of use, the action has become looser. However rather than making the cube work better it is proving to make the cube most frustrating. The cube often locks up during fast motions and pieces are popping more and more frequently. How can I fix this? Does it just need to be lubed again? Or does the tension need to be tightened? I tried to remove the center caps but they are glued on really tight and I don't want to ruin the cube trying to take them off. Please someone!

Thanks for responding. I tried using a knife, but it seems like the caps were superglued on at the factory

spring tension on Studio Cube can definitely be adjusted. caps for these cubes
aren't very well designed, they keep on coming off if not glued.
so yes they are superglued when you get them new but it's fairly easy to
remove the caps, the two Studio Cubes, that I own, had only tiny drops of
superglue on only two adjacent sides of each cap. it was enough just to lift up
the other opposite sides for the cap to go loose.

I don't know if you got unlucky and some maniac decided to glue the entire cap
properly (like it is done on store bought Rubik cubes). even so, you should still
be able to remove the caps with sharp utility knife

update: I got the center caps off and adjusted the tension. Center caps fall off a lot but that is the least of my worries. Although the turning is better, it seems like the pieces are always going to pop on this cube, especially when trying to cut corners. Maybe I do need to lube it, because it used to cut corners just fine.

To get them back on, I have heard that some people use a piece of paper between the cap and cube to hold it on. I've never tried it, though.
