Well mf8 is the only square-1 that's good for competition. You can get it here.

MF8 rocks. I kinda took mine apart and lubed it and now, it's wicked fast. Absolutely no resistance I tell you! If i flick the U or D layers hard enough, them can even do like 3 to 4 360s!

MF8 after lubing. Something you should know is that the caps like to fall off. Superglue them in or use paper to keep them in place. They're pretty good out of the box but become great when lubed. The stickers slowly chip, but they should last a while.

Get an mf8. They are GODLY with lube. I've never had problems with caps falling off myself......

There is no U16 on Square 1. It would be (36,0) or (48,0) depending if it goes around 3 or 4 times.

The MF8 is a really great one.
my up and down layer were very very stiff, but a little bit of lube solved that problem and it is awesome now!

My brother and I both recently got the black MF8 Square-1 from Popbuying. Mine felt a little stiff out of the box but is breaking in nicely. I'm going to have to see if a little lube helps, but I haven't had any problems with caps falling off.
My brother's, on the other hand, turned really nice right out of the box (or bag?). I don't even think he needs any lube on his. The only downside, and it's minor, is that one of his edge caps constantly falls off. Nothing a little superglue won't fix. The MF8 Square-1's are nice.
