im looking for a algorithm needed when on the last layer (after the top face has been done)
its needed when none of the corner pieces are matching with the corner next to it (like E N V or Y)
im not looking to solve the cube in 1 algorithm after that. im looking to solve the corners in one algorithm...

i know it started with a x' and finished with a x. it had no other cube rotations in it and it had 2 u2's in it...

its probably a lot to ask but can any1 find it for me? thanks in advanced!

The only one I know of is the E perm with one u2 in it ('x's are also switched):

x (R U' R') D (R U R') u2 (R' U R) D (R' U' R) x'

Although personally I would do a Y or V perm:

F R U' R' U' [R U R' F'] [R U R' U'] [R' F R F']

[R' U R' d'] [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R F]

When corners are oriented, you are probably looking for the A-perm. R B' R F2 R' B R F2 R2.
its needed when none of the corner pieces are matching with the corner next to it (like E N V or Y)

Don't forget to look in the wiki for algorithms. You will probably find what you are looking for along with several alternatives.

x R U' R' D R U R' u2 R' U R D R' U' R' x'

this is what i was looking for... isnt it funny how when sum1 gives u just the x R U' R' u then start to remember it all!

i knew rougly what it contained but u guys are very good at spotting where i was wrong lol

i did look at the wiki but i was looking for 2 u2's and a x' at the start... i was convinced! thanks for the fast response
