I just had an idea for a comp, I will try my best to explain it.

There will be a competitor limit of 15 in this competition. Each person chooses one event that they will do for round one. It must be an official WCA event. Once everyone has submitted, I will put all the results on a list. The people in the top 2 and bottom 2 places will be eliminated, leaving 11. People in places 3-13 will now choose another event to do, and the process will repeat, leaving 7 people. Round 3 will be the same as 1 and 2, leaving three people.

For the final, to avoid cheating and stuff, the event will be 3x3, unless all three agree on a different event. The people in 1st and 3rd lose, making the person in 2nd the winner.

Each round will last a week, if someone doesn't submit, they will be put in 1st, the next person to not submit in 2nd, then 2nd last, then last, so they will be eliminated. If more than 4 people don't submit, the deadline will be extended until 4 or less people have yet to submit.

When joining, don't say your event. Keep it a secret until submitting results.

I'm in! also how do you determine top and bottom two places? is it by time or is it WCA rankings if that was official?

yes, multiple people can do same event

like the 2 highest and lowest times in the comp, like the results you submit
I’ll join! Do we dm our event to you or post it here?
wait until you're submitting your result, and put it in the spoiler with your average.
Yes, I'll join. Do we have to do different WCA events in each round?
nah you could do the same one each round if you wanted
