Hey guys,

This is my first post here in a long time so in case anybody was wondering, I'm not dead, I just don't cube that much anymore. But Ian Winokur and I got together recently to do some team BLD solving... here are some of our better solves!

We also had a 32.58 average of 12 that day. The times were 30.03, 32.44, 35.86, 33.65, (51.18), (27.88), 34.61, 28.34, 29.55, 36.58, 35.48, 29.30.

Enjoy!

WHAAAAAAAT?!? You make it look so easy... that doesn't even look fast at all. But of course it is. I seriously need to find out why I have trouble breaking a minute. I am actually appalled right now.

Nice to see you haven't completely given up cubing, Jason. :)
Eric Limeback and I also are pretty good at TeamBLD as well. Some F2L codes we use are the same, but many are different. For instance, our name for "Edge 1-1" is "Mini Crisper Right." lol. Actually, here's a video of our 2nd best time. We called the OLL "Chameleon" when in your fastest solve you called it "Shark." :p

Anyway, are you planning on going to US Nationals this year? If I remember correctly, you had a band camp that unfortunately coincided with this past US Nats.

@Jason, since you said that you don't cube much anymore... does that mean you won't finish ZB?! Ahhhh and you went so far too.
Nice Team BLDs btw. I could never have the patience to work it out with someone else.

Anthony- Wow, that was really fast! That's only your second best time... what's your fastest then? Ian and I have wondered for a long time if sub 20 was possible.

I actually don't know about 2010 Nationals yet. I'm marching in a drum and bugle corps this summer, so it would depend on what my schedule is like with them.

Peter- I stopped working on ZB a while ago actually. It's a great method, but too much work for too little reward in my opinion.

Afaik, we were the first to sub 20. Eric and I got a 18.06 at the WC. Arnaud, Charlie, Lars, and some other people saw it. :) It was full step, we just had a pretty good F2L and a nice LL.

Glad to see you're still somewhat cubing, Jason. I thought you stopped completely. Awesome solves too, me and my friend have only done it a couple times but I don't think we've even done a Team BLD under a minute. :(

I see the same thing Stefan see's...I look so slow! So many delays. Sigh.

In my defense, my hands move so much slower than Jason's that my poor brain wasn't able to consistently look ahead with his finger speed. With practice I think Jason and I could get sub-30 averages but we only team BLD once a year!

Some cuber needs to move to Western Massachusetts. :)

Ian

We had *better* results than this ;)

Well, yeah, I thought I remembered that was true, but you changed your signature and now I don't remember how good they were.

I wonder how good you'd do with me solving. We'd probably be lucky to break a minute. But I'd love to try sometime.

Me too. I need to try to convince my mom to let me go to Indiana Winter.

Maybe some other cuber needs to move out of Western Massachusetts.

Into Edmonton? ^_^
