very close to my first 4x4 blind solve, please give me some advice about which method to use, atm i'm using U2 for centers, old pochman for corners and a 2cycles method per the edges invented by Alberto Bosia (thx ;) ) which is quite slow but easy

I use commutators with a buffer for centers and I believe it has great potential. However, I think it requires more training in order to be faster than U2.

Also, 3OP for corner can be done at the very beginning of the solve and required few to learn. This is just a suggestion, it is not likely to be quite faster than your method.

probably now i need to change method for the edges, casue i like U2 and old pochman and i'm pretty fast in these two steps. What about r2?

r2 is pretty good. I think it's one of the fastest methods next to BH, but it's easy to learn.

But I would say that you are already pretty fast :)

mmmh devo solve was about 8 minutes and something, the memo was pretty fast

I use r2 and I found it really really easy to learn (literally 10 minutes). I might learn U2 because commutators take me ages to do!

when i had to change method for the 3x3 blind, i tried to learn m2 but it really didn't fit my style and i moved to turbo... That's why i dont think is really ok for me

I actually find r2 easier than M2 (much to DanCohen's disbelief and frustration). I still can't do M2 but I can do r2 very easily. It's worth learning imo.

I feel the same - r2 is much easier to understand than M2. Stefan once said that it seemed logical to him that it would be that way, since he developed the r2 concept for bigcubes first, and then extended it to M2 on the 3x3x3 later. In fact, I think the best way to learn M2 is to first learn r2 on the 4x4x4, then learn how M2 is an application of r2 on the 3x3x3.
