Hello everyone! This morning Santa left me a Megaminx puzzle, which is pretty exciting. I have learned to solve many different puzzle cubes, but a Dodecahedron is different news entirely.
I am a visual learner and I like to start out with easy albeit slow solutions. I have been using this guide:

But I have hit a snag. I am on step 1d, where I am placing edge pieces at the middle of the puzzle, using the moves listed in c. The middle corner pieces have been placed.
Here's the problem. The c moves the DR edge to FR, and FD edge to FR. However, I want to move the DR/FD edge to FU! One would think I could just move the F (front of the puzzle) and relocate DR/FR/FD elsewhere to suit my needs, but in these moves given, D (the bottom of the puzzle) is disrupted. This means I can't move... so how do I get the DR/FD edge to FU?

I learen from those videos too. But then again the only megaminx i had at the time was the one on ultimate magic cube
