Yes, being located in the US is also good because some people may not be comfortable ordering from overseas.
Plus, if you're impatient, you get your items faster, and shipping is cheaper.

@Waffle The Edisons I mentioned selling earlier will now be a part of this store. I won't be selling them separately.

That's all good. I can't wait for all the cubes you will have. :D

@Zubon You can still get transparent Joy cubes.

Are you sure? I know that some websites like Tribox stopped selling regular Joy cubes because the company stopped producing them. As the transparent cubes are not nearly as popular as black cubes, they still had them in stock and it took a while for them to be sold out.

Now that all the transparent cubes are sold out on Tribox, they say that they can not get any more because the company has stopped making them.

To get transparent Joy cubes, you would have to find another shop that has an excess of them and take some off their hands. I am sure that you won't be able to get them from the manufacturer.

Alas, someone on my side!
I too, do not feel comfortable ordering overseas.
1)Expensive Shipping
2)Expensive Shipping
3)Expensive Shipping
4)...I probably didn't mention expensive shipping yet huh?
5)Gotta wait a long time.
There isn't a lot of cube stores in the USA. V Cubes, C4U, etc are all Foreign. In fact, only Rubik and Cubesmith are our US stores! I disagree with US being the worst place to pick.

iSpinz, thank you for living the USA. :D

Apparently, there is need of a cube shop in the US/Canada for cubers who live there.

There isn't need of a cube shop in NA, unless you're very impatient or only want to buy things from an American.

or you don't want to pay expensive shipping. the faster delivery is just a plus to that.

But that's the thing. I've seen some US-based cube places open and their prices are higher than cube4you or other places. The reason is that the seller has to get the cubes shipped to them, and then ship them out. I think the other contributing factor is that the seller wants to have instant profit, so they end up putting a huge markup on the product.

So, for someone like me:

1) I don't care if I buy from overseas
2) I don't care if shipping takes longer
3) I care about the total price being the cheapest

If you don't have the cheapest prices, then you're basically going to be catering to people who aren't allowed to order from some Chinese website and who want their stuff immediately.

I'm a little confused, but am I to assume that there isn't going to be an actual physical store? I would think that would be a bad idea, not sure why, but if there is, you guys should do lessons!

Oh, and scrambled sq1's have a great shelf presence.

EDIT: stickers and dianshengs would make me happy. I wouldn't even care if the DS's were 6-10$ without shipping, be worth it to get them in under 2 weeks I think.

@Zubon You can still get transparent Joy cubes.
@Daniel When we decide what we are ordering I may PM you.

I doubt we would be getting V-Cubes, as there would be no way to buy them at a lower price, even in bulk.

I think you are very wrong there. V-Cubes company is always on the hunt for some contracts with shops, though mainly distributors in countries so that they can just send all the cubes to that point from where the distributor divides them among all shops selling V-Cubes. I'm very sure V-Cubes would be more than willing to give you the contact information of the distributor that is closest to you and get the V-cubes to sell for a good price.

Really? Then V-Cubes may be a possibility. It still depends on price though, but we could try to contact V-Cubes and get some more information.

Also, no, it is not a physical store.

reply: Isn't C4U going downhill right now?
