My mom is like asking me cause she wants to know if it will help my brain in any way or something haha. Like is there any good things about?

I would compare it to learning how to play an instrument. Good for the brain. Most of the time.

HAHA i <3 runescape!!! I used to play it so much i was the best in my school and everyone played haha. level 60 lol.

Its better than wasting countless hours staring at the computer.

I was lvl 69.

And you mean to say that when you joined this forum because you cubed you intended to reduce the time you spent staring at your coumputer?

Lvl 83...

but let's try to stay on topic.

I think cubing gives you a different sense of problem solving, you can look at something that seems impossible. But from the prior knowledge of cubing you can figure out how to take it step by step, and learn to take different approaches to things (different methods).

That had horrid punctuation, but I hope you got the point.

My mom banned me from MMORPGs, so I started cubing.

I was just pointing out that cubing led to joining this forum (or the other way around) which meants spending time on the computer.

Cubing made me more organized and focused on my school work. When I played Maplestory I could not focus during school, but when I switched to cubing I was better able to handle school and my grades went up :).

Can you please elaborate? It seems to have done the opposite for me. lol

MMO's taught me about life.
I learned how to do business with people.
Always make sure trades benefit me.

I learned how to overcome my boredom and click the same things for hundreds of hours. In order to max out a skill, I had to click the same 7 spots on the monitor thousands of times an hour and for 4-5+ hours a day.

Since I overcame boredom, I found that studying for school was easier, and I could do repetitive tasks for long periods of time.

I was lvl 54 n00b but I was pretty decent at wc, fishing, fires, and cooking. All useless if a nonmember but whatever.

Cubing helps me type faster and play Rock Band better.
