V-Cube 5 Core

I dropped it a while back and it got bent on a core stalk, so it's bad now. Anybody have a white V-Cube 5 core? Or does anybody have a relatively new V5 they'd like to sell(I really don't need the whole cube, i have all my cubies)?

If it's only the core and not the other pieces then you could try to use a type-a core and screws/springs. There is a thread on making an adjustable core for the V5, check that out.

I dont think the typical screw is long enough for the 5x5.

Mister Sneakypandaman used a screw from the hardware store.

If you get a black core, just change the center caps. All you need is a craft knife.

I tried to get center caps off a v5 core when it was disassembled. I truly believe it is impossible to take them off a brand new cube, without it being whole, while keeping them intact. It just, doesn't work. God the horrible hours of prying at those things...

I would have assembled, but I already cut into the thing to start my core mod.

Did you use a craft knife? Just cut lightly at the line where the cap and center meet, and do it to every corner until it pops off or is pryable.
