i bought my first can of jigaloo the other day
i applyed and it was great
but after working it in and popping an edge out to look inside
i saw this substance that seems like petro. jelly
is this normal? am i applying too much?
and the can says it doesnt smell but it does a bit
is this also normal?

I would type in sentences, lest your enter key be stolen. To answer your questions:

I can't explain the petroleum jelly-esque substance. How much are you applying? Jigaloo does have a bit of a weird smell though, yes.

Ummm, Jigaloo is a bit "thicker" than CRC.

Thats normal, and in some situations favorable, since it silences the cube to an extent, also it feels smoother, and the surface tension gives you a negligible resistance to popping.

yeah it does silence the cube
thats good cuz i thought it was going to kill my cube or something

In a 3x3? That's a ton! I wouldn't even put that much in a 7x7. Usually 1-2 seconds total is the recommended amount.

Also Jig-a-loo smells delicious.

Hahaha, I thought i was the only one who considered the smell of jigaloo pleasant. (x

It reminds me of bakeries and saccharine, and possibly the smell of a nail salon all in one~

Nail salon? Uh oh, I don't like smelling those places. My aunt works at one and all the smells make me feel weird.

Jigaloo smells like blueberries.

on topic, don't spray that much. 2 sec is enough

when i use jig a loo i usually only use 3 squirts.. for any cube. also when you spread the peices out and spray them and then let them stay for an hour or so.. It works well too.
