OK, I use Fredrich F2L, 2- Look OLL,and 1 Look PLL (without the G-Perms).

I did ten solves, here are my times:
  1. 44.44
  2. 52.03
  3. 48.25
  4. 55.09
  5. 48.22
  6. 49.71
  7. 44.80
  8. 39.65
  9. 51.95
  10. 46.02
Out of those, my average was 46.02 sec.

Then I did ten solves with only F2L, my times were:
  1. 19.83
  2. 27.47
  3. 24.27
  4. 23.30
  5. 21.47
  6. 17.77
  7. 22.28
  8. 24.36
  9. 20.22
  10. 22.65
Out of those, my average was 22.37 sec.

Does anyone have any tips on what I should work on or learn?

p.s. my signature is not updated and PB is now 34 sec

Learn the G perms.

They should be pretty easy, trust me, just look at the R-U-r-u patterns that all 4 of them have.
Each one has an inverse and a reversed that are another 2 G perms.

You should really learn them.

I average around the same time for the full solve and the f2l(22 seconds) but you should post how long it takes u to make the cross, oll, and pll??

If your whole F2L (incl. cross) is 23s, what the hell are you doing at last layer? It takes you 25s. If 23s is excluding the cross, your last layer is still 15+s. Way too much for 3LLL. I'd work a bit on LL, after that cross. Or vice-versa (working on LL will cut down more time for you, in my opinion).

I concur.

hey, i meant the f2l not including cross!! i simply did cross, then started timing until the LL.

You're F2L needs work, but mostly your last layer oll, pll need a lot of work...you said your cross takes 6-8 seconds, F2L, 22 seconds...thats 28-30 seconds overall so far...so your last layer takes from 15-20 seconds. I suggest working on your last layer more often until you can get to 40 second average. That is what I am currently working on since we have very similar times. I only know 10 plls, but im using 2 look pll and 2 look oll and get 45 second averages. Once you get to averaging 40 seconds consistently then you work harder on your F2L, but work on both. If you have any questions you can send me a message since we can give tips to each other on how to improve with our similar times.

Thanks..
it is nice to meet someone with similar times. everyone varies.....

Go through each algorithm and try to get sub-3 seconds on each one. Then try you solve, after that work on your F2L you should be Sub-30 then.

I have only learned 1 g-perm so far... i was using the pll trainer.. and here was my report...

horrible, right?

p.s. what does the "std" mean?
